Provide new standardized hardware to help international users (with limited internet access) in consuming digital content created. We launched a limited beta release to 15 locations world-wide.

Process:

Over 50% of worldwide members had limited access to digital content. We tested a new hardware system that was mobile and did not rely on the internet.

Process:

In the Beta release, users found the hardware to be confusing and cumbersome. Once users realized what content would be available, they made a concerted effort to understand the system.

We learned that the success of the hardware depending on the commitment of key “purchasers” and champions in the area. We improved the interface and implemented a roadmap for continual development.
